I think J.P focused too much on Stefan’s idea of ”freedom of choice”. Fair enough.
BUT IF MY FUCKING EPIC LOVE WAS DROWNING IN A RIVER, I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO SAVE THEM, EVEN IF THEY’RE AGAIST IT, even if their best friend is in it too.
Stefan is going to suffer when he finds out.
And even if it does not keep straight to the storyline, (its even better than the books) some things must be kept.
It was inevitable that Elena become a vampire after all.
I do not believe that Delena is going to ever die though.
She is in love with two guys, who both are amazing. She has her epic love Stefan, and then she falls for Damon, who gives her goosebumps and makes her breath go away. I’m sure you all have been in this situation and if you haven’t then try and picture it.
She’s not being selfish, she can’t help it! She’s lost E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. Her father, and her mother, her real dad, her real mother, her auntie, his guarding and almost lost her brother and her best friends. She has no one to really care about her, apart from Damon and Stefan, and loosing them would really make her lonely, literally lonely. Both of the Salvatores brothers make her happy, and give her that confort and that company that she needs. You might find it selfish but I find it’s just what any girl would do, and now, she has to loose one of them forever. I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t go through half of the stuff Elena has gone through.
So before you judge her for being selfish and stupid, THINK!, she really is not different from any of you, and you all should question yourselves. If you were her would you know better? knowing the circumstances?
